How strong are they?
To ensure the hands are rigid enough to withstand the daily beating of wind and rain they are formed to create a strengthening rib down the centre. Each hand is then carefully balanced to ensure they cause minimum wear to the mechanism.
How are they finished?
Once ribbed and balanced our hands are generally powder coated for added protection, prior to being hand finished with gold leaf. Hands can be supplied with a brushed or polished metal surface or sprayed in any BS or RAL colour if required.
